Sherab Chamma Daily Practice

Online Course

Screen Shot 2016-08-26 at 10.19.13 AMLatri Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche teaches Sherab Cham Ma, or “Loving Mother.” This teaching was originally taught by Tonpa Shenrab, Founder of Bön and is part of the series of the Mother Tantra.

Sherab Cham Ma (also known as “Cham Ma”) is the female form of the Enlightened One. She holds the collective power of Compassion and Wisdom of all enlightened ones of the past, present and future. She is also the source of manifestation of all the perfected enlightened ones.

This practice helps us connect with our primordial capacity to love and care unconditionally for one another and for ourselves. This practice can deeply transform us. The true quality of the Loving Mother is within us forever. Practicing the Loving Mother means that we recognize this quality within ourselves. Based on this recognition we nurture it and finally use it as a skillful means of refuge and protection for the self and others.

This course will be very participant-based. We want you to have discussions in the private course forum, joining other practitioners for monthly Chamma meditations on Live Stream, and most importantly, engaging with the practice daily and throughout your daily life.

By attending this course, you will also gain access to Yeru Bön Center’s live stream of our monthly Sherab Chamma practice.

This course is an in-depth look at Daily Sherab Chamma practice. It uses the same media as the video here. However, for those that are looking to deeply connect to this practice with extra information, suggested mind-training exercises, journaling prompts and more will find benefit in taking the course. Additionally, attending the course allows practitioners to connect with others who are practicing Sherab Chamma through the course forum and monthly live stream group practice sessions.

The course is split into two lessons. It is recommended that you split the content into two months, taking things slowly. But both lessons are available, allowing you to work through the material at your own pace.
